    Hi,
I loaded the latest release of Sage to go with Firefox 4.0 but I still cannot get my feeds on the sidebar. Any ideas on what I should do?

    Hi guys,

can You confirm, that Sage stopped working on latest nightlies (4.2a) and can You tell if You plan on releasing a fix soon?

Problem with latest nightlies: Cannot load feeds from sidebar. Error console is giving several error messages.

Thanks in advance and THX for the best rss reader! :D

Yes, I can confirm that Sage 1.4.10 does not work anymore with the nightly builds of Firefox[1]. I used to work up until a few weeks ago.

I realize that the developer(s) cannot be expected to keep Sage working with the nightly builds of Firefox, so this is in no way a demand on my part – just info and a wish.

I too want to thank Peter A. for the best (by far) feed reader available (I’ve tried many others).

Maybe its a small and fast fix? It would be pretty nice, since latest nightlies got tons of fixes/improvments added!

    • Thanks for letting us know about the trouble on the latest nightly builds. Unfortunately, we don’t have much time to devote to keeping Sage working on developer builds. Keeping up with beta and RC milestones can be challenging enough. However, if you can submit a patch to fix the issue, I’d be happy to look it over.

Under Firefox 4, Sage does not restore the reading position when I come back to the feed page by click the “back” button.

    • I’ve noticed this new behavior in Firefox 4 as well. It’s not limited to Sage’s feed view, it seems to be happening on any dynamically built page, such as Google’s instant search results.
